Reworked the CSS for front end. Brought down the server response time from avg of 6 seconds to under 1 second by optimizing scripts. Also created "custom search" and "filter" options for end users. The site is based osCommerce framework. However client wanted to change the color theme of site and additional functionalities to the Admin Panel since client is into international trading of gemstones.
Functionalities added in admin paenl
- Option to create and download order invoice in MS Word format
- Option to create and download "Labels" in MS Word format
- Option to create and download Customs Declaration
- Download inventory reports
- Option to send news letter
- Apart from all this, added many minor functionalities and resolved bugs
